Obituary for Virginia I. Vidaurrie
Virginia I. Vidaurrie, age 77, of Carpentersville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at her home. Virginia was born on February 19, 1945, in Elmhurst, Illinois, and was the daughter of the late Donald & Margaret (nee Wold) Dayton.
On October 7, 1972, she married her husband Juvenal "Ray" Vidaurrie. Ray preceded Virginia in death on April 5, 2009, after 36 years of marriage. Virginia made her home in Carpentersville for almost 50 years and was a former many-year member of St. Monica Church in Carpentersville. Virginia was a loving mother sister, aunt, and friend. She was also an avid animal lover.
Survivors include her son, Jason R. Vidaurrie; her brother, Donald (Gretchen) Dayton, as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister Carol Griggs.
Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) At Virginia’s request she will then be cremated followed by a private inurnment. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to the Anderson Animal Shelter 1000 S.
