Obituary for Michael E. Ingold
Michael E. “ Mike" Ingold, age 75, of East Dundee and former many-year resident of Carpentersville passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 27, 2022, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Mike was born in Chicago on June 7, 1947, and was the son of the late Arnold & Florence (nee Shagney) Ingold.
Mike was a resident of the Carpentersville-Dundee area for 50 years. Prior to retirement, Mike was a many-year employee of School District # 155 in Crystal Lake where he worked as a custodian at Crystal Lake Central High School. He was a very proud United States Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran and a former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Carpentersville.
Mike married the “girl next door” his beloved wife and best friend, Judy L. Jones. Mike and Judy were married on November 2, 1968. Mike and Judy were married 54 years at the time of his death.
In addition to Judy, Mike is survived by their two daughters, Michelle (Jim) Kesler and Corey (Justin) Miedwig, and his three grandchildren all of whom he loved very much and was very proud of: Chance Kesler, and Myles and Grayce Miedwig. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce, and his sisters, Alberta Moll and Joan Bevil.
Mike’s visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee with Rev. Bruce W. Meissner, officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at the Dundee Twp. East Cemetery Columbarium. Please omit flowers.
