Obituary for Maryann L. Lauk (Lauk)
Maryann L. Lauk, age 77, of Carpentersville passed away on Thursday morning, November 10, 2022, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin surrounded by her loving family. Maryann was born on August 19, 1945, in Chicago and was the daughter of the late Arthur & Clara (nee Herman) Lauk.
Maryann was a resident of the area for the past 27 years and was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Carpentersville.
Survivors include her six children: Deborah (Peter) Millar, Thomas Cox, Elizabeth Cox, Richard Green, Sandra Mangia, and Timothy Green. Mary Ann is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Maryann was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Thomas Cox; her 2nd husband Robert Green; a daughter, Mary Ellen Cox; her brothers, Richard and Ralph Lauk, and her sister, Loretta Henderson.
Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. on Monday morning at the funeral home to St. Monica Church in Carpentersville for mass at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. William Vallejo, officiating. Burial will follow at Dundee Twp. East Cemetery in East Dundee. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made the ASPCA.
