M. Pauline Peonski, age 99, of West Dundee passed away on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2022, at Alden Estates of Huntley. Pauline was born on July 24, 1923, in Temperanceville, Ohio, and was one of nine children born to the late George W. & Mary (nee Burkhart) Gallagher. On February 15, 1945, she married her husband, Edward Peonski. Ed preceded Pauline in death on November 20, 2020, after 75 years of marriage. Pauline made her home in the Dundee area for over 55 years.

Pauline loved to travel with her husband Ed and to spend time with her family. She enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and cooking as well as being an avid Bridge player.

Survivors include her son, Douglas R. (Janet) Peonski, and her daughter, Nancy Peonski. In addition to her parents and her husband Ed, Pauline was preceded in death by a son, Daniel R. Peonski on November 7, 1983, and here three sisters and five brothers.

The Peonski family has decided to mourn their loss privately. There will be no visitation. Private burial will be at the River Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, West Dundee.
