Laura Owens, age 59, of Carpentersville passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Laura was born in Markham, Illinois on April 7, 1963, and was the daughter of Richard and Donna Krueger.
Laura was a resident of the area for over 30 years. She was a Realtor by profession and owner and operator of All Homes Realty in Lake In The Hills.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Alan Owens; Her children, Donnie (Kelly) Bernacchi, Tara (Jimmy) Cores, and Nicole (fiance’ Ryan McGregor) Bernacchi; her stepson, Nick (Erin) Owens; her grandchildren: Jimmy, Logan, Vivi, Abby, and Liam; her mother, Donna Krueger, as well as many good and faithful friends. In addition to her father, Laura was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Krueger.
At Laura’s request, she will be cremated. Her family has decided to mourn their loss privately. There will be no visitation or service. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Animal House Shelter 13005 Ernesti Road, Huntley, IL 60142.
