Mr. Kent W. Wilson, age 77, of Carpentersville, IL, formerly of Woodstock, IL, passed away Thursday morning, July 21, 2022, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Kent was born in Denver, Colorado on March 24, 1945. He was the son of the late Jesse & Lois E. ( nee Shields) Wilson and is survived by daughters, Lisa Wilson Spiller, Channing Wilson, two grandchildren and former spouses, Karen Domek Wendlandt and Linda Ross.

In addition to his parents, Kent was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Incerto, grandson, and parents-in-law Edward and Eleanor Domek.

Kent was retired from Nuclear Data, Schaumburg, IL. He shared his love of racquetball, tennis, ice skating, cross-country sking, snowmobiling, and tobogganing with his daughters. He was an avid handyman, and enjoyed cooking, camping, motorcycling, playing poker, blackjack, and following NASCAR. He had a beautiful singing voice and was the life of any party.

At Kent’s request, he was cremated. There was no visitation or services. His family will be mourning their loss privately with a celebration of life.
