Julianne "Julie" (nee San Fillipo) Olsen, age 73, of Palmetto, Florida former many-year resident of Algonquin and McHenry, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Julie was born in Chicago on October 6, 1949, and was the daughter of the late Joseph G. & Elizabeth A. (nee Betourne) San Fillipo.

Julie and Al loved living in Florida. They enjoyed many wonderful vacations and especially enjoyed going on cruises. Most of all, Julie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her beloved husband and best friend of 41 years, Alan M. Olsen; her son, Joseph G. (Melodie) San Fillipo; her three grandchildren, Alexandria (Dakota) Vincent, Cody (Katlyn) San Fillipo, and Emma (Spencer) Greenwood; and her seven great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Killian, Elsie, Ezra, Max, Victoria, and Aubry. Other survivors include her sister, Cyndi Yeargain and several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her son, Earl Dean Robinson, Jr. on August 25, 1991, and her three brothers, Paul J., Joseph T. “Tim”, and Mark San Fillipo.

Visitation will be held at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow at the Dundee Township East Cemetery in East Dundee.
