Obituary for Jeffrey L. Seiler
Jeffrey L. Seiler, aged 68, formerly of Sleepy Hollow, IL passed away on April 16, 2023.
Jeff was born in Evanston, IL to Lois and Theodore Seiler on June 18, 1954. He grew up in Arlington Heights, IL where he enjoyed playing baseball and swimming competitively. He graduated from Arlington High School and went on to study Political Science at Colorado College before eventually returning to his home state of Illinois.
Jeff lived a full life, often enjoying his Harley Davidson motorcycle, rooting on Chicago sports teams (especially the Bears, Blackhawks, and White Sox), walking and playing with his dogs, and spending time with his family. After spending time working for several insurance companies, including Gallagher and Equitable Life, he started his own insurance consulting company, S&S Benefits Consulting, where he worked for over 20 years. He also served his community as a Trustee on the Village of Sleepy Hollow Board.
Jeff is survived by his former wife, Sally Seiler, and their children, Mackenzie (Martha) Seiler, Alaina (Alex) Kupperman, Kelsey Seiler (Jason Clark), and his grandchildren, Lukas and Adela Seiler, and Gabriel and Wesley Kupperman, his sister Wendy (Mark) Hagy, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To honor Jeff’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life at 11:30 am on May 13, 2023 at Carillon at Cambridge Lakes Community Center (1865 Andrew Boulevard, Pingree Grove, IL 60140). We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his wonderful life.
