Marie Huffman, age 86, of West Dundee passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Marie was born in Midland, Michigan on January 20, 1936, and was one of 12 children born to the late William H. & Mary R. (nee Byrd) Tucker. On August 20, 1955, she married her beloved husband Albert B. Huffman. Al preceded Marie in death on November 5, 2002, after 47 years of marriage.

For over 50 years, Marie made her home in the Dundee area and was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in West Dundee.

Survivors include her son, Ronald, D.D.S. (Mary Beth) Huffman; her daughter, Michelle (Patrick) Creegan; her brother, Don (Betty) Tucker, and sister, Rose Beach, along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Marie was preceded in death by her ten siblings.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Dundee. Burial will follow at River Valley Memorial Gardens in West Dundee. Marie’s family will be receiving friends at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass. Please omit flowers.
