Charlotte J. Boy age 96, of Algonquin former many-year resident of Arlington Heights, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Charlotte was born on January 30, 1926, in Chicago and was the daughter of the late Charles & Martha ( nee De Witz ) Hazel. On September 6, 1947, she married the great love of her life and best friend Charles A. “ Al” Boy. Al preceded Charlotte in death on June 23, 2020, after almost 73 years of marriage.

Prior to retirement, for over 25 years, Charlotte was a loyal and valued employee of Carson-Pirie-Scott and Company where she worked as a Sales Associate.

Survivors include her three children, Jill (David) Johansen, Susan (Jeffrey) Beichner, and Charles "Chuck” (Doreen) Boy. Other survivors include 4 grandchildren all of whom she loved and was very proud of; Clint (Holly) Johansen, Corey (Sara) Johansen, Katie (Brian) Devlin, and Jeffery Beichner, Jr. as well as her great-grandchildren; Avery, Riley, and Tyler Johansen.

At Charlotte’s request, she will be cremated. A private family Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in West Dundee. Please omit flowers.
