Obituary for Carl N. Josh
Carl N. Josh, age 78, of Carpentersville passed away unexpectantly at his home on Monday evening, July 18, 2022. Carl was born on March 26, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, and was one of two sons born to the late Carl & Mary ( nee Kelch )Josh.
Carl was a former employee of ITW and Cherry Electric. Prior to retirement, Carl was a many-year loyal and valued employee of Otto Engineering where he served as a Manufacturing Manager. He was a longtime member, former officer, and Fellow of Carpentersville Moose # 1958.
Survivors include his wife of almost 5 years, Janet L. (nee Pastuszka); his daughters, Heather Josh and Angela (Don) Hill, and grandchildren: Nicholas Hill, Anthony, Delvia, and Ophelia Shula, and Nevaeh Josh. Other survivors include his brother, Rob Josh, and his in-laws: Catherine (Rodger) Miller, Marilyn (Charlie) Rickey, Mary (Steve) Daggett, Judith King, Stanley ( Kim ), and Richard (Barbara) Pastuszka, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah A. Josh on April 24, 2016.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee from 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. . There will be the Moose Funeral Ritual at 3:00 P.M. under the direction of Carpentersville Lodge 1958. At Carl’s request, he will then be cremated. Inurnment will be private
