Brent D. Lood, age 74, of Sleepy Hollow passed away suddenly in the comfort of his home on Saturday morning, February 4, 2023. Brent was born in Chicago on May 2, 1948, and was the son of the late Roland & Verona (nee Swanson) Lood.

For 36 years, Brent and Linda made their home in Sleepy Hollow and raised their family. In earlier days, Brent would volunteer for different activities within Sleepy Hollow.

Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 52 years, Linda; their sons, Brian and his wife Sandra, and Braden Lood; and his three grandsons, Brian, Bennett, and Bradley. Other survivors include his sister, Sherryl and her husband Per Anderas, his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, Brent was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce. Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 4:30 P.M. until the time of a memorial service at 6:30 P.M. at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee. The inurnment will be private.
