Andre H. Brodsky, age 70, of Algonquin passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 12, 2023, at JourneyCare in Barrington. Andre was born in Chicago on October 5, 1952, and was the only child born to the late Dmytro and Denise (nee Laire) Brodsky. Andre and Karen made their home in Algonquin for over 36 years. Prior to retirement, he was a loyal and valued employee of Baxter Healthcare in Round Lake for over 39 years where he worked as a Metrologist. Andre was an avid model railroader, loved to read and discuss all makes and models of automobiles, and took the family on many wonderful road trips across the country. Most of all he loved his family and was the proud “Papa” of six grandsons.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 43 years, Karen (nee Massani). They married on October 6, 1979. Their two sons, Richard and his wife Amanda, and Robert and his wife Nicole Brodsky. Other survivors include his six grandsons, Isaac, Ian, Nathan, Leonardo, Benjamin, and Theodore Brodsky.

Visitation will be held at the Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10:30 am. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery in Fox River Grove.
